Gerald and Francisco

This isn't easy to explain but when I was younger I had two ideas for videogames but I'm only gonna mention Gerald's since I've decided to scrap Francisco's game and have him join this idea

Soooo.... for starters, I'm a sucker for origin movies/game/stories and loved how past grieviances are explained... but that's kinda not happening here (a form of it, but not a direct origin) so (since you've already figured it out by just looking at these two) I created some... _{Super Mario Ocs >3>} but these two are part of a game called Luigi's Kingdom (Which I thought would serve as somewhat of a sequel to Luigi's Mansion) and these two would be two of the many phantoms that haunt the kingdom.

Although to start off, I've given this some thought and probably, for accuracy issues, I'd start this off by saying this is my little AU where there have been previous "Heroes" (before Mario and Luigi) who've done things equal to Mario's adventures (Saving the princess and whatnot) BUT! these two heroes have done it in a previous Mushroom Kingdom (One I'd like to call Fungi Kingdom or somewhat) which has been overthrown by spirit and caused the citizens to relocate to New Mushroom Kingdom (the one ye'all know and love)

Now, somehow King Boo (who I've recognized as Luigi's arch-nemesis, so Bowser=Mario and King Boo=Luigi) has lured Luigi over to this haunted Kingdom in a attempt to capture him again. Somehow Prof. Egadd finds him again and suits him with a Poltergust whatever# t stop King Boo's evil plans (which ever it is, idk haven't gotten there yet)



Now the part that inspired Gerald. I thought this might be concept through which to tell a "origin" story off Mario's previous... (i don't what its called, where someone else had the title one is currently holding...) the "torch bearers"? He could see previous heroes reenacting heroic deeds of their past life or read it from somewhere... idk .3.
